Minor in consumption 51.61 (b) SDMC

Here is the law concerning the favorite charge for students around SDSU Minor in Consumption;

Minor being defined as any person under the age of 21, and consumption meaning measurable BAC of >.01 though the police can just make a determination based of no measure.

People under the age of 21 need to be aware that the police will just assume you have been consuming alcohol if you are at a party, and they will issue a citation. If you were not breathalyzer you should fight this charge to protect your record, your university status and your wallet.
